"This was drawn when hospitals in NYC didn't have enough PPE, morgue trucks lined the streets and sirens wailed day and night. We stitched masks, caps and gowns from bedsheets and hustled them to grateful doctors through ER side doors. This was from before quarantine fatigue and exhaustion set in, when I, along with the city was running on adrenaline."
